Susan Holsclaw is a Southern California painter, sculptor, writer and photographer. She received a BFA with a concentration in painting from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in painting at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is multi-talented writer and poetess and has published two books: “The Peanut and the Pearl” a work of fiction and “The Fictional Poesy of Edna Bale,” a book of poems. Most recently, she had a one-woman show entitled the “Susan Holsclaw Retrospective: An American Artist in the Round,” at the Liberty Gallery in Long Beach, CA. She currently works at the Long Beach Veterans Medical Center as a medical photographer.
